In only six years, Facebook has become the dominant power in social networking. It has not only changed the way we connect, build and maintain our personal relationships, but it has completely changed the way we do business.

It might not seem significant that this social networking website has nearly 500 million active users worldwide. However, for a small business owner, this fact means access to 500 million prospective customers; all who have the ability to access information, connect, openly support and interact all in one place. If managed well, this enables small business to not just gain brand advocates and increase sales, but is possibly the cheapest marketing tool available today.

Therefore, it is no surprise that more and more small businesses are setting up Facebook Pages. Facebook has definitely changed the way people are doing business on the net.

Is your business on Facebook?

Until next time…..
